How do you use what you've learned during Corona? Or do you throw it all away?
An organization with a strong feedback culture will be good at getting input from employees to ensure ownership and well-being. If this isn't normal for you, start with the three questions explained in this video.
Make the corona innovation stay with 3 questions:
How to bring corona innovation into the future.
- What have employees appreciated that you've done differently?
For example: "What is something we've done in the last few months that you would like us to keep doing?"
Or asked in a different way:
"Of the things we've done in the last few months, what would you like us to do in a year?"
- How can we adjust the innovation to take the challenges into account?
Now you can come up with the right solutions that can possibly live in the future as well.
For example, ask: "How can we adjust the good initiatives from point 1 so that they also address the challenges you see in point 2?"
- What are the challenges?
It's important that you don't become naive and think that you can just take the ideas and "it will happen automatically" because it did during Corona.
Ask specifically:
"What CHALLENGES would there be if we continued with the new things going forward (as mentioned in point 1) now that we are coming back?"
This gives you a better opportunity to combine your new experiences with the framework you normally work in.
And that way, you can make the most of the innovation process you've been forced through over the past few months.
And if you take the plunge, as we strongly recommend, consider using this video as an introduction to your employees to explain what you're trying to achieve.
