Ursula is Head of Studies for the Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Psychology at Copenhagen Business School. Here, they have decided to do something about the pressure students experience in their first year of their bachelor's degree. Ursula is the spokesperson for the project "grade-free first year", the title of which speaks for itself. Instead of the 7-point scale, students will instead learn from more qualitative feedback from teachers, supervisors and fellow students.
Danni and Morten are very excited about this development and are investigating how they have prepared and what CBS expects to gain from the pilot program.
Topics that we get through:
- What kind of pressure do students experience during their first year of study?
- What will it take for both students and teachers to adapt to this reality?
- Why is being able to give and receive feedback a key skill to acquire before you hit the job market as a new graduate?
- What are "gold notes" and why is it a bad thing?
