Giving good feedback to your staff is an important management, development and recognition tool for you as a manager - whether you are a manager in a kindergarten, for technicians, for school teachers or for new dancers.

Here's how you can be inspired by the feedback styles of the four "Dancing with the Stars" judges

Your employees are probably not as new and insecure in their field of work as the new dancers on TV2's "Dancing with the Stars". But you still need to make sure your employees feel recognized and on the right track in their development, and you can't slack on communication.

It is the judge's job to do the same for the new dancers. So the distance from the managerial role to the judge's seat may not be as far as first thought. Just like the judges, you need to help your staff in the transition between different "dances", processes and types of tasks. And this is where feedback is important.
